Vale Sheila Moore

1989

Victorian U3A network

Sheila was involved with the network long before she started U3A in Grantville. She joined in 1989 as a volunteer and became their third secretary in 1991, after that she took on the role of assistant treasurer and the office manager

1994

Nunawading

Sheila was a founding member of the U3A Nunawading and was President there from 1994 to 1995 and was secretary in 1994 and 1995 where she also taught Art, Tai Chi and Water aerobics for many years

2007

U3A Bass Valley

Sheila founded U3A Bass Valley and was ably assisted by Margaret Lee, Tim Ealey, Rodger Membrey, Jinty Kubale et al
She also assisted Wonthaggi and Box Hill to open their U3A's

2009 and 2010

Lots of classes

Classes included Music and imagery, Dressing up nights, Walking groups, Bush painting, Group gatherings and Group dinners, Digital photography, Afternoon tea's, Current affairs, Christmas Carol's, Model of human behavior, Special positive experience, Garden group, Storytelling, Ancient civilizations.

COTA

Sheila received a COTA (Council on the Aging) senior achievement award and twice received a distinguished service award from the U3A Victorian network.
